Our touches are complimented by our outstanding, state-of-the-art inventory software so you know exactly what sold, when and for how much. You receive professional inventory and sales sheets daily.
Santa Barbara Estate Sales can also house 3000 sf of merchandise in our high traffic, street front shop in Santa Barbara. We have owned and operated Santa Barbara Consignment Company for over 10 years (Now called "The Attic").
At our sales we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover AND American Express.
We also have long term partnerships with Santa Barbara News Press, Montecito Journal, The Independent, The Sentinel, and other smaller publications.
Some important questions you should ask anyone giving you an estimate...
1.) What do you do with the remainder of the items after the sale? Most often their reply will be "to donate it". SB Estate Sales can take it on consignment for you in our shop and give you another 2 months to sell your items AFTER the sale.
2.) How do they keep track of the hundreds of items for sale? Most often their reply will be that they hand write tags with prices. But if you aren't around how will you know what doesn't make it into inventory? With our barcode inventory, your items actually have price tags with bar codes on them. Your inventory is not only maintained it's transparent.
3.) Ask how they will promote your sale and if they use the most important tool in this age... social media. We have over 1250 facebook.com followers who are updated daily on our sales. We use craigslist.org and several sites like this one. We use instagram.com and twitter to reach out to our hundreds of followers. In addition to social media our email clients total over 2000 locally (these are folks who have requested to be on our mailing list).
