Lisa knows the current fair market prices for your fine art, antiques, vintage furniture, and collectibles. Expert Estates is owned by a trained CAGA Certified Appraiser. Beware of companies that mention being appraisers without telling you which appraisal association they are trained and certified by (CAGA, ISA, and ASA are some of the most popular). We recommend that you check with the certifying association directly to verify an appraiser's membership.

We know or will find the best venue for selling unique and high end property. Lisa sells property at regional and national auction houses, on Etsy, eBay, and in antique malls. Expert Estates also has an antique and consignment store which allows us to maximize proceeds from your sale.

We will heavily market your inventory in print and online. With over 2,500 connections and subscribers, we have one of the largest social network and mailing lists.

We hold sales for as many or as few days (or weekends) as needed based on the amount of inventory you have.

We accept credit cards and collect sales tax from the buyer and process sales tax. We absorb all of the advertising and credit card processing fees for your sale. And we collect sales tax from the buyer, it is the law. Hiring a company that doesn't collect tax is risky since they could go out of business at any moment, and hiring one that pays sales tax from the overall sale tally is costing you an extra 7.5-9% depending on your location!

If your estate includes special items that might not be right for an estate sale or that might not have sold over the course of your sale, we consign them and sell them in the right venue.

Early in her career, Lisa worked for one of the country's oldest auction houses. Her fine art services firm in South Florida was a Sothebys.com authorized seller. She has a degree in fine art from The Maryland Institute, College of Art.
